DeerVik Deer Repellent Review

DeerVik Deer Repellent Review

Described As ‘Foul Smelling’

Deervik is different from most other chemical repellents because it is a paste that is applied to tags attached to plants, instead of being sprayed directly on the plants.

  • Application Type: paste on a stick
  • Deer Control Method: by smell
  • Active Ingredients: garlic – “foul smelling”
  • Rain Resistant: up to 4 weeks between applications in average rainfall. Works in winter too.
  • Chemical Makeup: Non-toxic and biodegradable
  • EPA Registered: unknown
  • Plant Safety: Will not burn foliage, leave a film, stain or discolor your plants. Safe for ornamentals and vegetable plants
  • Professional Endorsement: none

“we’ve also tried Deervik, which didn’t seem to work … ” GardenersCorner.org

“I’ve had good luck with using Deer-Vik, but I alternate that with Deer Fence, a liquid product. A bare branch on my variegated Euonymous this morning tells me I need to spray again …” GardenWeb.com
